Christmas at The Clarence Tavern Menu 
available Tuesday-Friday for groups of 6 or more

£55 per person

Starters

These five starters are served in the centre of tables for the whole party to share.

Jerusalem artichoke, clementine, chilli and Berkswell

Spiced roast carrots, herb tahini and almonds

Pane carasau, spiced cavolo nero and Corra Linn

Chicken liver parfait, toast and cornichon

Smoked salmon, pickled cucumber and dill crème fraiche

Mains

The main course is to be taken by the entire group. Dietary requirements will, of course, be accommodated.

Beer-braised ox cheek, horseradish dumplings and pickled red cabbage (to share)

Chicken, leek and bacon pie, buttered greens (to share)

Slow cooked lamb, gratin dauphinois and buttered greens (to share)

Cuttlefish stew, salt cod, mussels, saffron potatoes and aioli, green salad (to share)

Gratin dauphinois - £6 per person

Desserts

A single dessert choice is to be taken by the whole group.

Warm mince pies and brandy cream

Beaujolais-poached pear, vanilla custard and flaked almonds

Sticky toffee pudding and cream

Cheese course - £8 per person
